Messi nears a deal to own his second Spanish club

Argentine star Lionel Messi is close to entering a new experience in the world of football, after reaching a preliminary agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Eldense, a competitor in the Spanish Second Division.

According to reports, the anticipated deal will be completed entirely by Messi without any partners, after his negotiations with the investment group TH, the club's owner, reached their final stages.

Despite reaching a preliminary agreement, the acquisition process still requires the completion of a number of legal and contractual procedures, in addition to obtaining the approval of the Spanish Supreme Council for Sports before the deal is officially completed.

The acquisition is expected to be announced in the coming days, provided all necessary requirements for the completion of the deal are met.

Messi's new move comes after he already entered the world of investment in Spanish clubs, following his investment in Cornella club last April, as the Argentine football legend continues to expand his activity in club ownership, in parallel with his career on and off the field.
