Roma squanders its lead against Fenerbahce.. one point for each team in the Champions League

Fenerbahçe forced their guest Roma to a 1-1 draw in the match that brought them together at the "Şükrü Saracoğlu" stadium, as part of the first round of the league stage in the Champions League. Fenerbahçe entered the second half strongly, and managed to equalize quickly in the 48th minute, after Arci Brown exploited a distinguished pass from Greenwood, and skillfully placed the ball over the Roma goalkeeper, making the score 1-1. The attempts of both teams continued during the remaining minutes to snatch the winning goal, but neither of them was able to capitalize on the available opportunities, so the confrontation ended with a positive draw, one goal for each team. With this draw, both Fenerbahçe and Roma earned one point at the start of their journey in the league stage of the Champions League, as the two teams will strive to achieve better results in the upcoming rounds and enhance their chances of qualifying for the knockout stages.
