After absence.. United returns to the Champions League with a big win

Manchester United began their Champions League campaign with a resounding victory, as they thrashed their guest, Sabah, 4-0, in the match that brought them together at Old Trafford as part of the first round of the league stage of the competition.
The hosts imposed their control early, and Matheus Cunha opened the scoring for Manchester United after a decisive pass from Dyogo, before Bruno Fernandes doubled the lead with the second goal, benefiting from an assist by Youri Tielemans, to give his team a comfortable advantage before the break.
Before the first half's final whistle, specifically in the 45th minute, Benjamin Sesko reinforced the Red Devils' lead by adding the third goal, after receiving a wonderful pass from Mbuemo, to go one-on-one with the goalkeeper, dribble past him, and then easily place the ball into the empty net.
Manchester United continued their dominance after returning from the dressing room, until the fourth goal came in the 68th minute through Lisandro Martínez. The goal came after a free-kick taken by Bruno Fernandes towards Zirkzee, who shot the ball, which deflected off a defender and then the goalkeeper, before Martínez found the ball in front of him and tapped it into the net.
Manchester United maintained their significant lead until the final whistle, to collect their first three points in their European journey, while Sabah left without any points in their very first appearance in the Champions League.
