Al-Nassr maintained their lead until the end of the first half, before Abdullah Al-Hamdan managed to double the score in the 58th minute, after exploiting his team's advantage to add the second goal and bring Al-Nassr closer to clinching the match.
Abha refused to give up, and succeeded in reducing the deficit in the 75th minute through the French player Nabil Fekir, bringing excitement back to the final minutes and giving the hosts hope of equalizing.
Abha tried to exploit the remaining minutes to get back into the match, but Al-Nassr's defense maintained its cohesion, and the global team managed to maintain its lead until the final whistle, emerging with a valuable victory with a score of 2-1.
The match statistics showed a clear advantage for Al-Nassr, who had 19 shots compared to Abha's 5, and also had 67% possession compared to 33% for the hosts.
