The Gunners hit the Blues.. Arsenal snatches the London derby with a brace

Arsenal achieved a thrilling 2-1 victory over Chelsea in the London derby, which brought the two teams together at the Emirates Stadium, as part of the third round of the English Premier League.

Chelsea entered the match with great force and managed to surprise the hosts with an early goal after just two minutes, after Morgan Rogers exploited a pass from Hato and shot the ball into the net, giving the Blues a quick advantage at the start of the encounter.

Arsenal tried to respond quickly, and Riccardo Calafiori managed to shake Chelsea's net in the 12th minute, but the referee disallowed the goal for offside, as the Gunners continued their pressure in search of an equalizer.

Arsenal's attempts bore fruit in the 25th minute, when Kai Havertz managed to equalize the score after a decisive pass from Declan Rice, bringing his team back into the game and ending the first half in a 1-1 draw.

At the start of the second half, Arsenal continued their pressure and succeeded in completing a thrilling comeback, after captain Martin Ødegaard scored the go-ahead goal in the 50th minute, benefiting from a distinguished pass from Ødegaard, to put the Gunners in the lead.

Chelsea tried to get back into the game during the remaining minutes, but Arsenal managed to maintain their lead until the final whistle, emerging with a valuable victory from the London derby.

With this victory, Arsenal raised their points tally to 9 points, equaling Manchester City at the top of the league table, while Chelsea's tally stopped at 6 points in fourth place.
